I hope you are well. Many of you have received at least the first dose of the vaccine. Please remember that full immunity is not achieved until about two weeks after the second dose and please continue wearing a mask, practicing good hand hygiene and social distancing.
Vaccines: I know for some it has been frustrating, but, it will improve as the vaccine supply does. Please note; only go to the approved sites below for appointments and no legitimate site will charge for the vaccine. The Governor is expanding vaccine sites to Sam’s Club, Walmart, and Winn Dixie for those over 65. Sign up will begin on 02/12/2021.

· Winn-Dixie – www.winndixie.com/pharmacy/covid-vaccine. Collier location booked for the first day, potential availability at other sites. Check the website for details and future appointment notices.
Marco Island Vaccine Distribution: Full time and seasonal residents of Marco Island who are 65 and older can pre-register at any time by visiting marcoisland.typeform.com/to/dHSgaQze.

There are available times at the Hard Rock Casino or the Florida Marlins Stadium periodically. You will need to call 786-629-5752 to make the appointment.
NCH has done over 61,000 coronavirus tests and, has cared for just over 2000 patients in the hospital since the start of the pandemic. The mortality rate has been among the lowest in the nation.
