2015 CLASS OF 25 OVER 50

“2015 Class of 25 over 50: Paul and Susan Jones,” by Jamie Stoddard

NAPLES, Fla. – Paul and Susan Jones have been giving back in Southwest Florida for more than 20 years, using their considerable professional skills to help individuals and groups in Collier County.

Susan Jones started her nursing career at Naples Community Hospital in 1991, and recently opened her own home health care agency, Attentive Nursing Care.

But it’s what she does with her spare time that helps set her apart. She’s been involved with The American Heart Association and co-chaired the Heart Ball with her husband several times.

She worked with Bill and Nancy Lascheid to start the Neighborhood Health Clinic and has planned the group’s “block party” since its inception.

Susan Jones also has volunteered at Community School of Naples, Gulfview Middle and Naples High, as well as helping out the Naples Gators youth football league. She was named a “Woman of Initiative” in 2014 and also is a Youth Haven member.

Dr. Paul Jones is a native of Kingston, Jamaica, who came to Naples in 1990 to establish a practice. A renowned doctor, he was named the NCH “Physician of the Year” in 2014, and he also was a founder of Anchor Health Centers and is chairman of the family medicine department at NCH.
